Mommy Loves this little one more than words can say

 With a face like this, how do you choose just one for a Christmas card?

We can't get enough of how cute she is

 December turned out to be a very busy month at Mountain Rise.
It is great to have all these orders but it makes for very busy weeks and
tired parents but this little girl is amazing.
 It is so fun to have her at work with us.

Although we would have loved to be able to go home for the holidays, 

we are so blessed to be here in New York. 

We were able to start our own traditions and 

we have such a wonderful ward family. 

Christmas Eve we went to the Buchenhagen's for dinner, then we came home 

 to read the story of Jesus, open one present and sleep under the Christmas tree.

 

Christmas Day

We ate homemade cinnamon rolls, opened our presents,

 watched the Grinch and enjoyed a lazy day.

Our home teacher invited us to Christmas dinner so we went 

to the DeLucca's in the evening. 

Even though we were far away we were spoiled. 

Thanks to family for all the amazing gifts. 

Even though she won't remember it, 

Madie had a great first Christmas
